So if you’ve been following me for some time you may have picked up that I and my unpaid internship do not get along. I finally decided to quit and I sent away my two weeks notice email (which took me way too long to write).

Started this back in like… October. haha And never finished it. So I pulled it out today and finished it. :)
It’s sort of an awkward angle… It works in the reference but I think a pencil drawing with just a white backround it looks funny. :XD: Oh well…
I am also scared of drawing people smiling or with obvious expressions… So this was kind of a challenge to make myself do it… *is scared*

I finally saw The Pirates: Band of Misfits from Aardman today. It was awesome. Go see it. It’s all claymation and puppets and beautifully detailed sets and props. Oh, and it’s funny! And not really a kids’ movie… but don’t get me started on the mistaken connection people make between animation and meant-for-kids.
As a huge bonus, The Pirates also stars the voice talents of…

So I had this Billy and Teddy thing in my sketchbook for at least a year, and found it again while I was cleaning out my art folder, so I threw some colors down on it. WOO.
